PDI PowerLOK PDU
The PDI PowerLOK PDU delivers reliable power distribution at a competitive price point. The PDI PowerLOK PDU is the newest addition to the PDI PDU family, providing basic, reliable power distribution in all IT environments. PDI PowerLOK PDU’s are UL-listed, meeting an important requirement for many data centers and insurance providers.
PowerLOK Rack PDU
The innovative PowerLOK rack PDU is a next-generation offering for the power management market. PowerLOK’s rigorous engineering, design, testing, and manufacturing processes ensure that our customers’ severs run reliably and efficiently in the highly competitive, 24/7 mission critical industry. Our unique features, quick-ship turnaround, and e-commerce model allow us to offer greater value than legacy brands. At PowerLOK, we’re building a better rack PDU from the inside out.
Slim Modern Chassis
PowerLOK’s compact dimensions of 72” tall, 2.2” deep, and 2” wide allow the user to install more rPDUs in a rack which, in turn, provides higher receptacle density per cabinet. This slim, modern design increases the efficiency of the data center as a whole by making the best use of space in the rack.
Flush Mount Circuit Breaker Actuators
PowerLOK’s 30A rPDUs offer circuit breaker actuators that are flush mounted to the rPDU chassis surface. This innovative mechanical design eliminates accidental tripping of the breaker and server downtime or damage. PowerLOK’s breaker mounting design creates a slim profile which allows for more space and higher receptacle density in the rack.
Angled Whip Entry
PowerLOK provides an angled whip entry as a standard feature on all rPDUs. The whip exits either the top or bottom of the power strip at a 45 degree angle instead of the 90 degrees that is common within the rPDU market. This design reduces the bend radius of the whip, making it easier to plug the cable into its power source.
C13, C19, and 5-15R Convenience Outlets
PowerLOK is available in over 20,000 configurations of C13 and C19 receptacle groups in 20A and 30A single and three phase rPDUs. PowerLOK provides exceptional receptacle density, and up to 48 C13s can fit on a single strip. Optional 120v 5-15R convenience outlets are also available in one or two receptacles, making it easy for technicians to charge their devices on the data center floor.
Fully Machine-Soldered Connections
PowerLOK’s internal connections are fully machine soldered from the line entry cord to the receptacles. This eliminates the need for less reliable connection methods such as fast-on insulation displacement or hand-soldered terminations. PowerLOK’s automated process of selective soldering keeps cost down, eliminates human error, and keeps wiring organized inside of the rPDU.
Optional CordLOK Cord Retention System
CordLOK, PowerLOK’s optional cord retention system, reliably holds plugs where they belong.
Optional Integrated Monitoring with Color Touch Screen Display
PowerLOK offers remote and local monitoring on the group level as added options. A color touchscreen display provides data at the local level of the rack, and ethernet port communications with the ability to daisy-chain send data back to the DCIM. The touchscreen display orients correctly depending on if the unit is top or bottom fed. On all metered units, a standard temperature sensor monitors the internal temperature of the rPDU.
DCIM Web Interface
A DCIM web interface is included with all metered PowerLOK rPDUs.
PowerLOK’s configure, price, and quote system allows users to select and model a rPDU on the web. The configurator provides a unique user login for each prospective customer and captures their purchases for future orders. This e-catalog eliminates the need for a paper catalog, and it creates downloadable specification sheets, CAD drawings, and 3D previews.
