PDI Announces Martin Rogers as Director of Business Development
Richmond, VA., December 2009 – Power Distribution, Incorporated (PDI) has announced the appointment of Martin Rogers to the position of Director of Business Development. Martin will lead the development of PDI’s newest product offerings. His extensive experience in international markets and power distribution comes from over 15 years of progressive leadership positions with Schneider Electric. His most recent position was as Director of Global Services and Process Improvement. Martin will report directly to Dave Mulholland, Vice President Marketing and Service in this newly created position.

PDI Ships First 1 MVA PowerHub™ PDU
Power Distribution, Incorporated (PDI) today announced shipment of the first 1 MVA Powerhub™ power distribution unit. The 1 MVA Powerhub™ power distribution unit represents an expansion of the recently released Powerhub™ product line which now runs from 200 kVA to 1 MVA. This welded bus design is extremely useful for top entry and top exit applications where distribution to the raised floor is accomplished via sub feed breakers and cabinet style power feeds to the servers. These customized Powerhub™ units can also be used for structural slab data centers as they are top entry and top exit – both configurations are built to serve dense power applications like cloud computing applications and high density server farms.
PDI Welcomes New Vice President of International Sales
Power Distribution, Incorporated (PDI) announces the addition of Jose Luis Crespo to the PDI management team. Jose Luis, as VP of International Sales, will lead the continued development of PDI’s global markets. His extensive experience in international markets and critical power was obtained in Sales Management positions at AT&T Power Systems, Lucent Technologies, and Alcatel-Lucent. His most recent position was VP of Sales for Europe and Latin-America for NextPoint Networks.

PDI Releases Powercube Family of High Efficiency Intelligent Transformers

PDI Releases The Wavestar 400, 625, and 750 kVA Mission Critical PDUs
Orlando, FL., October 5, 2008 – Power Distribution, Inc. (PDI), a leading manufacturer of mission critical distribution equipment for the data center market, today announced the addition of the Wavestar™ Mission Critical 400, 625, and 750 kVA Power Distribution Units (PDU’s) to its PowerPak line. The announcement was made at Afcom Orlando. This release complements PDI’s recent release of the Wavestar™ 500 kVA power distribution unit and establishes PDI as the market leader with the broadest PDU product line in the industry. PDI’s Wavestar™ power distribution line ranges from 15 – 750 kVA. Each PDU has the unique ability to display both PDU critical functions and PDI’s patented Branch Circuit Monitoring System (BCMS) in a single Wavestar™monitor. The Wavestar™ monitoring system can also provide these points remotely to the building management system via Modbus or SNMP.
